Sept 27 (Sun) – 12pm – Brooklyn Book Festival, Center Stage, Columbus Park (Brooklyn, NY) – Reimagining America: What does it mean to imagine America otherwise? Poets Tina Chang (LION), Erika Meitner (Assembled Audience), and Jonah Mixon-Webster (Promise/Threat) read and discuss how poetry can remake ideas and realities about nation, identity, and belonging, finding new ways of imagining our lives. Moderated by Edgar Kunz (Fixer), followed by a half-hour book signing at 1 PM at Signing Table D.
